Welcome to Lola May terms and conditions. These are set out in order to create an understanding between our company and you as a customer. Here we have outlined our rights as a company and your rights as a consumer. We hope you have an easy and fuss-free experience shopping with us.

Your order

Once you have placed an order with us, you should receive a confirmation email straight to your inbox. This will state information about: the products that you have ordered, your shipping address, your payment method and order confirmation number. In the event of not being able to process your order, we will email you immediately stating the reason that we were unable to process your order. This could be due to unauthorised payment method, unavailable stock or unforeseen circumstances.

If your order is unsuccessful, we will always email you stating the reason as to why the order did not process. If you would like to re-order, please visit our site and complete the order process again.

Cancelling or changing your order

Once we have received your order, we will aim to dispatch all orders within one working day of you placing it online. If you would like to cancel your order then please check its status under your account online. Here it should state the status of your order that you have placed with us. If your order says that it has been ‘dispatched’ then we are unable to cancel your order and you will have to wait for it to be delivered and return it to us in order to be refunded.  If your order states ‘pending’ then please contact us as soon as possible to cancel this.

Returns

You are responsible for your own returns to us at Lola May. Your item must be sent back to us within 14 days of receiving your order in the condition that it was sent you, with the original label attached, unworn/no signs of wear, unwashed and must have no stains, marks, or makeup anywhere on the product. Failure to comply with previously outlined will result in us declining you a refund. Inside your parcel, you will find a returns form and our postage address on a sticky label. Please fill the returns form in before you send it back so we can identify any issues with your order and we can refund you accordingly. You, as a customer are responsible for the payment of postage to send back to us, please retain a copy of your proof of postage for your records. It is under our discretion at Lola May whether we can refund orders that are lost in the post. 

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at Lola May, under some circumstances we may grant an exchange if this is a simple exchange of sizing in the same style. You must pay for postage to send your order back to us.

Guarantee/Warranty

As a Lola May customer, your order should be received in an undamaged wearable state. If you should happen to receive one of our products damaged or faulty, we can guarantee a full refund or replacement of your product under the decision that we agree that what you have received is faulty or unwearable.

Your delivery

At Lola May, we will deliver to residential and office addresses, however, we do not provide delivery to P.O box, post offices, or pick-up point locations. All products priced at www.lola-may.com have VAT included in the total amount displayed, however this does not include delivery charges.

Regardless of the size and weight of your order, delivery charges will stay the same. For UK delivery we have three options:  UK saver, UK standard and UK next working day. However, we offer free delivery to orders placed over a certain amount worldwide. Depending on your country of residence, delivery options vary in prices and what’s available. (Please see delivery information of individual prices and options for each country).

We will not be held responsible for the payment of any sur-charges that may incur for importing your order from the UK with us, this will be your responsibility to enquire about extra charges that you may face when ordering overseas with customs. In event that payment for importing goods is not made from you, we have the right for the goods to be returned to us with any outstanding charges will be made to you as the customer.

If we have to attempt to deliver your order more than once, re-delivery charges will not be carried out for UK orders. However, there may be a fee for European and International deliveries.

We are only able to post orders out once we have received a full payment.

If we have a tracking number for your order, we will send this to you via email. 

Security and privacy

Our website uses secure servers to ensure that we keep all of your sensitive personal information safe, from your payment details to your email address. We never share customer’s personal information or personal data to third parties. We will only ever use your email address to send promotional emails and keep you updated with the latest at Lola May including offers and new products. However, for any reason if you would like to unsubscribe, please get in contact with us. Our site uses cookies, this is when your browser will store data on behalf of our site so we can tell if you’re a returning customer or our site will keep items in your basket upon return of our site for ease of your shopping experience. 

Accurate representations

When it comes to the descriptions and representation of our products online, we try to be as accurate as possible with the way we tell you about a product, from the colour to the description of it. This is to ensure that you know what you are purchasing and are not being misled. However, we cannot be held responsible for slight colour differences on the screens on desktops, mobiles or tablets as these may cause a variation in colours to what is received in person.

Payment options and currencies

We accept payment from the following credit and debit cards via worldpay: visa, Mastercard and Maestro. We also accept payment methods through PayPal. When it comes to currency, our website will convert GBP to the following currencies: Euro, US Dollars, AUS Dollars and Chinese Yuan. Your rate will be converted into your own currency via our website and we will receive your payment in GBP.

Contract

-When purchasing a product from Lola May, you agree to pay wholly for the item purchased and delivery method.

-You agree that if you choose to send your item back to us that you will pay for postage back to us.

-You agree that you are 14 years or over and you have permission from the cardholder or you are the cardholder when purchasing from us.

-We agree to fully refund you once we have received your returned order on the condition that it is in the state that you received it, with no marks damages, makeup on the product and has its original tag attached.

Promotional codes

We offer promotional discount for our products at Lola May. When promotions are available, you as a customer will be made aware via our emails or social media pages. Codes may last a short period of time depending on the offer and may be limited to a certain amount of customers only. When available, you should be able to enter a code at the checkout before payment is made.
